There's a gap on my resume...

I made a strategic decision in early 2024 to prioritize self-improvement and enhance my professional skills by pursuing a certification in Front-End Software Engineering from Codecademy. I gave my previous employer ample notice of my decision, and committed fully to mastering modern web technologies and elevating my coding skills for both web and mobile. I also dedicated time to enhancing my knowledge of UX research and optimizing designs for specific audiences. This intentional investment in my growth has equipped me with cutting-edge knowledge, and I am now excited to bring these enhanced capabilities back to the job market.

Here's what I learned during my hiatus...

  • React and how to build web applications
  • The essentials of effective information architecture
  • UX research techniques
  • Web security best practices
  • Unit testing
  • Industry trends & more!
